Teenage and Young Adult Cancer (TYAC)

If you are a young person aged between 16 and 30 years and living with cancer you can request to be looked after by our Teenage and Young Adult Cancer (TYAC) team.

Whether you are at college, university, have just started out in your career or have a young family, the team has experience of looking after people just like you. They will work alongside your disease experts to provide you and your loved ones with the support and care you need.

Please note, if you are 16 to 19 years of age and have suspected cancer you will initially be referred to the Teenage and Adult Primary Treatment Centre at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. They will provide diagnosis and agree treatment with you. Then, if appropriate, you can decide to receive that treatment closer to home with us in Guildford.
