Meet our leadership team

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist cancer treatment hospital, with one of the largest cancer centres in the UK.

As a result cancer care reaches every part of our organisation and this is overseen by our Cancer Leadership Team.

They are responsible for enabling care to be more effectively planned, managed and delivered across the entire Trust from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.

They also work with colleagues across the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance, as well as with neighbouring organisations to improve the diagnosis, treatment and care for cancer patients.

The leadership team comprises of:

·         Deputy Medical Director for Cancer Services, Angela Riga

·         Professional Director of Nursing and Cancer, Vicki Mumford

·         Associate Director of Operations, Marianne Dabbs

Our Cancer Leadership team is supported by our Oncology Triumvirate, who are responsible for patients receiving active treatment or suffering from complications as a result of their cancer.

The team consists of:

·         Chief of Service, Dr Sophie Otter

·         Associate Director of Nursing, Sarah Etherington

·         Associate Director of Operations, Marianne Dabbs

Cancer Services team

Our Cancer Services team, led by Michelle Collins, tracks around 1,400 patients on any given day through their cancer journey. They monitor patient data to make sure we are achieving our national targets, as well as to ensure that your experience of care with us is as positive as possible.
