Paediatric Surgery

Our paediatric surgery clinics are run by two visiting consultants from St George’s Hospital, Mr Nicholls and Mr Murphy.

Mr Nicholls has a specialist interest in neonatal and general paediatric surgery, including congenital disorders, abdominal and inguino-scrotal problems, testicular problems and umbilical hernias.

Mr Murphy has made minimally invasive urological surgery the cornerstone of his practice. He has a significant interest in reconstructive surgery, neuropathic bladder and hypospadias surgery. He has a special interest in the undescended testis, wetting disorders and children with special needs who are incontinent. He has written the BAPU consensus document on undescended testes and megaureters.
