Radiotherapy Cancer Care Fund

Supporting people living with cancer

Our Radiotherapy Cancer Care Fund supports people living with cancer who are receiving radiotherapy treatment from our incredible teams at our Cancer Centre in Guildford and our satellite site at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

Radiotherapy uses carefully calculated doses of radiation to treat cancer, as well as some non-malignant conditions. It is used to help cure cancer or to control or slow down its growth, as well as to help relieve cancer symptoms for those with a terminal diagnosis.

Our radiotherapy departments cover a population of 1.2 to 1.4 million people. Over 3,000 new referrals are seen in the centre each year, and on average 200-250 patients are undergoing radiotherapy at any one time.

By donating to our Radiotherapy Cancer Care Fund, you are helping ensure people living with cancer receive world class care in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

Your donation could help:

  • Provide state-of-the-art equipment and technology

  • Fund comfortable and welcoming spaces

  • Support staff wellbeing

  • Invest in research, training and education

There’s more we can do, but we need your help.
