Neuroendocrine cells help regulate bodily functions, including the release of hormones, and are found all over the body, in organs including the stomach, bowel, pancreas and lungs.

Neuroendocrine tumours and cancers (often referred to as NET’s) are rare and can develop in many different organs in the body.
