Our virtual Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) takes place on 10 September at 5.30pm - 7pm.
It is a great opportunity for our members and the public to hear about our previous financial year, highlights, and our performance.
You can also find out more about how to become a member of the Trust and get more involved with what we do.
This year’s meeting will include two clinical presentations, which showcase examples of the ways our teams had to change and innovate in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Consultant Orthodontist, Mr Nigel Taylor, will give a brief overview of the way he and his team moved rapidly to virtual clinics, and the way that video appointments are used to add benefit to their patients (this specialism has traditionally been seen as reliant on face-to-face appointments).
Jo Thompson, Clinical Nurse Manager for Enhanced Supportive Care and Palliative Care will also provide an inspiring presentation. Jo will describe how our specialist palliative care team had to set up a unit to provide end of life care during the pandemic, at a rapid pace, to make sure that people would continue to receive the care and compassion that is so important at the end of someone’s life.
