We are pleased to announce that we are launching two community clinics in Hampshire to deliver care closer to home.
The Trust will be delivering both a Rheumatology clinic and a Diabetes and Endocrine clinic at Badgerswood GP surgery in Bordon from November.
These clinics will allow patients to have their outpatient appointments closer to home as well as freeing up space at Royal Surrey.
The new clinics are the latest to be offered, alongside those already delivered for Obstetrics, Physiotherapy and Ophthalmology.
Rheumatology lead clinician, Dr Cai Neville said: “I’m really proud to be bringing our high quality care closer to our patients, with both new and follow up appointments available at Badgerswood.
“It will allow patients to receive their appointments closer to home, without having to travel to Guildford.”
Dr Vicky Horden, Clinical Director of Diabetes and Endocrine said: “We recognise that it’s really important that we are able to provide our expert clinical care closer to patients, so it is exciting to expand our current community clinics to include Badgerswood.”
Rheumatology clinics will run on Wednesday afternoons and the Diabetes and Endocrine clinic will take place on the third Wednesday of the month
