We anticipate that a number of our radiographers will be taking part in industrial action from 8am Tuesday 25 July to 8am Thursday 27 July.
Please note, this industrial action is not happening at all NHS hospitals.
We are taking steps to maintain urgent and emergency care during this 48-hour strike period.
Unfortunately, we will be rescheduling several routine and less urgent appointments for scans and imaging such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI. We will not be offering a walk in X-ray service for minor injuries at any of our sites, including:
Maternity services will run as normal and any women whose appointments need to be changed will be contacted directly. Women with any immediate concerns should continue to contact the 24/7 advice line as usual on 0300 123 5473.
If you do not hear from us about your appointment, please attend as normal.
Regardless of the strike action taking place, it is really important that patients who need urgent medical care continue to come forward as normal, especially in emergencies and life-threatening cases when someone is seriously ill or injured, or their life is at risk.
You can help us manage this challenging period by making sure you are seeking help from the most appropriate health services and only attending A&E for serious accidents and emergencies. If you are unwell, use NHS 111 online for 24/7 advice about the most appropriate care for your needs, or call NHS 111.
