Improvements to car parking at Royal Surrey

We are pleased to announce that we are reallocating 100 car parking spaces for patients and visitors.

The additional bays will be provided at Royal Surrey County Hospital in a bid to ease congestion at the busy site in Guildford.

The Trust will create additional patient and visitor bays after further spaces have been provided for staff parking off-site.

This comes as the organisation is working with a developer on proposals to build single decked car park at the hospital site.

The Trust is currently exploring where to build the new facility in order to minimise disruption for patients, visitors and staff.

It is hoped the new car park will be completed by Christmas 2020.

Royal Surrey Finance Director, Ross Dunworth, said: "We know that car parking can be challenging and frustrating for staff, patients and our visitors and are working hard to improve the provision for all.

"By providing car parking facilities for staff off-site we will be able to increase the number of spaces for patients and visitors on-site."
