Get your scrubs on - local sewers deliver over 600 scrubs

Staff and local sewers showing donated scrubs

Local sewing groups delivered over 600 Noah rainbow patterned scrubs to our Trust last week. Our Chief Nurse, Jo Mountjoy, along with Maria Rana, Head of Soft FM Manager, and Julie Burgess, Divisional Head of Nursing for Surgery, met the group outside to thank them for their hard work.

Jo said: “I want to send thanks to all the individual sewers out there who have spent their spare time sewing us beautiful, colourful scrubs that will always light up our staff, and patients’, day.”

The scrubs will be worn by our staff who are working on the Covid-19 wards at the Trust.

A special thank you to Kathryn Carr, from Send Scrubs Hub, Claire Cummings, from Horsell Scrubbers, Alison Hughes, from Chobham, Lynn Godbourne, from Fresham Scrubs, Claire Ingham and all the sewing bees who helped sew the wonderful Noah scrub suits.
