Congratulations to Lorraine Brown who has been nominated for the Chronic Oedema Nurse of the Year Award.

Lorraine, Clinical Lead Tissue Viability and Lymphoedema, was nominated for the British Journal of Nursing Award.

Lorraine said: “I feel very touched that one of my team took the time to nominate me for this award. I really feel that we all work hard, but for this to be acknowledged in this way is an honour.

“Royal Surrey is a fantastic organisation and has supported growth and development, allowing me to nurture a skill mix within the Lymphoedema Team, which I think is what I was nominated for.”

The event is taking place on Friday 21 March in London. Good luck Lorraine!
