Congratulations are in order for John Barrett and Alfie West who have completed their Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeships.
Tom White, Director of HR, presented John and Alfie with their certificates in the Wellbeing Cabin, applauding the hard work and determination behind their achievements.
Alfie, now an HR Administrator after completing his apprenticeship, praised the level of support he received from the Apprenticeship Team. He said: “The programme was a great opportunity for me and although it took a lot of work and organisation, I think it went well.
“The apprenticeship was ideal for me, as someone with not much work experience, but I think it would also be good for anyone wanting to change direction in their career.”
Commenting on Alfie’s achievement, Sarah King, Deputy Director of HR said: “Since joining the team as an apprentice, Alfie has grown in confidence and knowledge and is always happy to assist the Business Partners with whatever they need. Alfie is a delight to work with and a really valued member of the HR Business Partner team – it’s a shame he supports West Ham but we don’t hold that against him.”
John, who is an Adminstrator for the Outpatients Appointment Centre, said: “Achieving the Business Administration apprenticeship has been a major goal for me and the effort and dedication to the tasks was a challenge at times but worth it in the end.
“The help and support I received from the Apprenticeship Team and PTS (the training provider) has been invaluable. Gaining the qualification will help me move towards my career goals and ambitions.”
Rebecca Arnaud, Outpatient Assistant Service Manager, said: “John was working through his apprenticeship during the toughest times of Covid-19 so he’s done an amazing job of persevering in the face of a lot of challenges. This is a fab achievement. Congratulations John!”
