Mr Sanchez trained as a nurse in the Philippines and qualified in 1996. He moved to the UK in 2002 where he commenced working in the Endoscopy Unit. Jules undertook his Clinical Endoscopist training for Colonoscopy and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy in 2017 and became fully independent later that year.

Jules has subsequently gone on to become a trainer for new endoscopists teaching and supporting them with learning to deliver endoscopic procedures. He is also one of only a few National Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopists who are not Doctors. Jules has attained further skills in undertaking polypectomy, EMR and assisting with ESD and PEG procedures.

Jules is now training to undertake OGD procedures to complement his other endoscopic skills.
