Mrs Macleod is a registered nurse by trade, but undertook her training to become a Clinical Endoscopist in 2001. Since then, she has undertaken over 30,000 procedures including gastroscopies and flexible sigmoidoscopies. Mrs Macleod provides a large portion of the total diagnostic workload for the Unit and has been pivotal in meeting our wait list targets.

Mrs Macleod was one of the key individuals who designed and planned the build of the new Endoscopy Unit, which opened in 2013. The unit won awards for its unique design and is regularly mentioned in feedback from patients and staff as being well laid out and a credit to the hospital.
