

Consultant in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care Medicin
Qualifications: MBBS, BSc (1st Hons), MRCP, FRCA, FFICM, MD
Dr Potter completed her Medical Training at Imperial College, London gaining MBBS and a 1st Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences with Pharmacology and Toxicology. She trained in the London Deanery and Oxford Deanery gaining experience in ICU, Anaesthesia, Acute Medicine and Emergency Medicine during her Foundation Training and Acute Care Common Stem.
In 2010 she commenced Anaesthetic Registrar training in the London Deanery, during which she undertook training in Cardiac and Neuro ICU and Anaesthesia at St Georges Hospital, Paediatric Anaesthesia and Liver Transplant Anaesthesia at Kings College Hospital. She took time out of training to undertake research into Per-operative Microcirculation at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust and was awarded an MD for her work by the University of Surrey
She is on the GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and has worked as a Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia at the Royal Surrey since 2019. She anaesthetises regularly for Major Oncological Robotic Surgery including Urology, Gynae-Oncology and Hepatobiliary Surgery in addition to Breast, Orthopaedic and Emergency Surgery. She combines this with her work in Intensive Care and is Clinical Lead for the Intensive Care Unit.
