Qualifications: MBChB, FRCA, MSc (Periop)
Dr Judith Tomlinson graduated from the University of Aberdeen Medical School in 2006 and moved to London in 2008 to train in Anaesthesia across the Barts and the Royal London and Imperial Schools of Anaesthesia. She completed Anaesthetic training in 2017, having undertaken Advanced Training Fellowships in Perioperative Medicine and Obstetric Anaesthesia and gained an MSc in Perioperative Medicine through University College London.
Following completion of training, Dr Tomlinson moved to Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust to complete a Fellowship in High-Risk Anaesthesia and commenced a substantive Consultant post in 2018.
She is currently the trust Clinical Lead for Preoperative Assessment, a member of the High-Risk Anaesthetic (HRAC) team, departmental Lead for Morbidity and Mortality Reviews and a member of the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust Pre-habilitation team, with the overall aim of optimising patient outcomes and experience after major cancer surgery.
