Dr Morrison graduated from University College London in 2008 with an MB BS in Medicine and a BSc in Psychology. He has spent his subsequent career south of the Thames across Surrey and Kent.

 

He started his Anaesthetics training in East Kent and worked his way westwards before speciality training in London and Surrey as a trainee within the St. George’s School of Anaesthesia. In this time, he gained experience in many fields of anaesthetic practice including high-risk anaesthesia, general, urological, gynaecological and robotic surgery.

 

Dr Morrison’s interests in teaching, quality improvement and management have developed throughout his career and he has more recently taken an active role in the use of digital health systems and their role in helping clinicians deliver safe and effective patient care. 

 

Outside of his work Dr Morrison spends much of his time on family walks with his wife and two young children. He is also a keen football fan dividing his time between Newcastle United (half-Geordie) and AFC Wimbledon (by marriage).
