Dr Visweswar Nataraj (Nat) qualified in 1987 from Medical School in India and completed his Postgraduate DA and MD in Anaesthetics in 1992. He worked as Assistant Professor in MS Ramaiah Medical College Hospital, Bangalore, India for 5 years.
Dr Nataraj completed his Anaesthetic training in North-West School of Anaesthesia, Manchester and worked as an Attending for a year at University Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, USA where he gained more experience in Liver Transplant and Vascular Anaesthesia.
He joined Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust as a Consultant in 2005 and developed a special interest in Education and Training. Dr Nataraj has held positions of College Tutor, Training Programme Director and DRAA for KSS school of Anaesthesia. At present, he is a Regional Adviser in Anaesthetics and FRCA Examiner for the Royal College Anaesthetics.
Outside anaesthesia, Dr Nataraj has a keen interest in walking, trekking, and travelling round the world.
