Dr Tony Dhillon is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Surrey Cancer Centre. He treats colon, liver, bile duct and pancreatic cancer.
He trained in medical oncology on the Imperial College rotation and at The Royal Free Hospital. His PhD in cancer cell signaling was funded by CR-UK and was supervised by Prof Michael Seckl at Imperial College London.
He has been the chief investigator and designer of major colon cancer clinical trials including High Pole, POLEM, and Neo-Polem.
He has been a member of the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) colorectal cancer group.
Dr Dhillon is an oncology advisor to the government body the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and has a private practice at The Guildford Nuffield, Mount Alvernia Guildford, and at the Leaders in Oncology care (LOC) on Harley Street, London.
