

Associate Specialist Anaesthetist
Qualifications: MRCS (Eng), LRCP (Lond), FFA Part 1
Dr Milewczyk trained at Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School (now Imperial College) qualifying in 1990. After short stints working in A&E and Medicine, he settled on Anaesthetics in 1993, being appointed to the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Feb 2000.
He is currently the Lead in Obstetric Anaesthesia, where he has initiated and overseen many changes in the department including setting up High-Risk Clinics, the build of a second obstetric theatre and the introduction of a new epidural patient-initiated pump service. Has also taken on roles as Educational Supervisor and representing SAS doctors on the L.N.C (Local Clinical Negotiating Committee), liaising with the trust.
Outside of medicine, Dr Milewcyk has served as a school governor, run a sports ground, set up a school uniform shop, run a bar, set up and run a website and run a football club as well as raising a family.
