Dr Chrisman completed her first degree in Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, then she studied Medicine at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine.

 

She carried out her Anaesthetic training in the South East London deanery, mainly at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. Her training included Specialist Fellowships in Regional Anaesthesia (Guy's and St Thomas'), and Advanced Airway Management (Royal Surrey). 

 

Dr Chrisman was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in 2018. She holds the European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (EDRA) and is faculty on local and national Regional Anaesthesia courses and conferences.

 

Dr Chrisman enjoys a variety of other teaching roles, including being faculty on resuscitation courses, faculty on local and national Airway courses, and currently holding the position of Simulation Lead for Anaesthetics in Royal Surrey. Additionally, she is the Champion for Supported Return to Training and Less than Full Time training in the Trust.
