Qualification:  MBChB, BSc (Hons), FRCA

Dr Katie Wimble qualified from the University of Bristol in 2011. She undertook her Anaesthetic training in Surrey and London. She was admitted as a Fellow to the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2017.

Dr Wimble has undertaken Specialised Training in Obstetric Anaesthesia in Sydney, Australia, Bariatric and Upper GI Anaesthesia at St Marys Hospital, London, Airway and Major Head and Neck Anaesthesia at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and a post-CCT Fellowship in Anaesthesia for Major Oncological Surgery at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. 

She was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist in 2023 and is now the Anaesthetic Lead for Drugs, Therapeutics and Allergy.
