

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Julie Kohls qualified in medicine at the University of Western Ontario with a BSc in Chemistry. She was selected for the Orthopaedic Surgery training program at the University of Toronto in 1996. After arriving in London in 1999, Julie completed her SpR training in Orthopaedic surgery on the London Northwest training program. In 2007 Julie became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS (Truma and Orthopaedics). During her training, Julie completed the Surrey Fellowship Training in Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as spending a year as a fellow and registrar at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Julie has worked at the Royal Surrey Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since July 2007. She uses the latest recognized surgical techniques to treat patients including keyhole surgery and is also committed to the care of diabetic patients with Foot and Ankle problems and co-runs with the Endocrinologists the specialised MDT (multi-disciplinary team) clinics for diabetic patients with foot problems at the RSCH.
